My name is Heather Winters. I am the Owner, Creator and Designer of Anchor & Blossoms. I grew up watching my grandmother design floral creations. I was 11 years old the first time I smelled a glue gun and I have been hooked ever since. I was a traditional Florist for over 20 years. My favorite part of working and owning a brick and mortar shop was the people that came in daily. I love to hear people tell their stories. I was not a fan of being a slave to a clock. As a traditional florist, time does not always permit for CREATIVITY and DESIGN. I LOVE to DESIGN!!!! I love the quiet of my studio, the bright white ship lap wall, my farmhouse fireplace and of course my long hair Dashound, Dapples at my feet. I am inspired by nature, and by people and their stories. I love that floral design is so PERSONAL.
